Resident Evil by Heather

What can I say? I loved the video games and I love the movie. Aside from the edition of Alice, who to my knowledge was never a character in the games, I felt this movie was very true too game story line. I loved every aspect of the plot, the zombies were great, and the actors were fantastic. Milla Jovovich was great as Alice and the rest of the cast was well chosen. Any horror/zombie fan can watch this film over and over, and be satisfied every time! 5 Smorts!

Saw V by Heather

Saw 5 is the latest in the gruesome Tobin Bell series. When this series first appeared it was truly inspired and just what avid horror fans needed. In the 3rd and 4th movies I feel they lost their way a bit, but managed NOT to jump the shark. In this 5th film they found their way back home and it was almost as good as the first film. Most of this film was a series of flashbacks explaining things that happened, unseen things, from the first 4. I quite enjoyed watching clips of the previous films from a new and different perspective. I would have to say this is a must watch for any saw fan and give it 4 thumbs up!!

Resident Evil by Devon

I thought this was a great movie. The acting was great by the entire cast. The zombies looked real to me (not that i should know what a zombie looks like) The graphics and make-up was extremely well done...and it stayed right on the story line, never deviating.

Serenity by Heather

For all of you Joss Whedon/Firefly fans, this movie is a must. Anyone who hasnt seen the series, well, it's still a good choice although it may seem to move a bit fast. Also there is the added bonus of Nathan Fillion and Gina Torres, and Adam Baldwin. Who, no, is not a Baldwin brother. The action and plot are good with excellent story continuity. Although, things seem to make no sense in the beginning, all is cleared up by the end of the movie. It also has an ending that you can be satisfied with. Over all I give it 4 Smorts! Well Done Joss!

Serenity by Devon

Overall I didn't like this movie very much. For me it went way too fast and was confusing at the begining, so the rest was hard to understand. The graphics were good...I'll give them that, but the acting perfomance, in my opinion was not all that great.

Eagle Eye by Devon

I thought this film was a great action thriller. It had good graphics, everything that would have to obvliously be animated looked real to me. I thought this was a great perfomance by the whole cast, especially Shia LaBeouf's perfomance as his character "Jerry Shaw." Some elements in the movie although, i did find very hard to believe. Some aspects during the film seemed to impossibe for me to believe it, however these times were few and far between. I also had a problem, there was too much profanity for me. This was, overall, a wonderful film.

Eagle Eye by Heather

The latest Shia Lebouff film is full of well action . Michael Chiklis, Billy Bob Thornton, Rosario Dawson all star in this film as well. Personally I think they're all tremendous actors and while this movie didnt allow for a lot of depth, they still rocked it. I thought this was overall, a pretty good flick. The plot was well written and had good continuity. The special effects were, well, special. There was one scene that seemed a little bit of a stretch, when our hero/heroine are out in the country guy and Aria kills the twitchy Iranian. Although that was a little farfetched, everything else was unnervingly possible. Anyone looking for a good Sunday afternoon film, Eagle Eye is a great choice. I give this film 3 1/2 stars!
